On the Loom brand team, we spend a lot of our time thinking about well-made design: thoughtful illustrations, intentional color palettes, clever word choices. We wouldn’t be very good at our jobs if we didn’t. And as a company, Loom spends a whole lot of time thinking about communication: the tools, experiences, and products that help users communicate faster and better.
We recently decided to turn those dual focuses on design and communication into a tangible project: the Loom Shop. From clothing and candles to cameras, the shop is designed to be a high-quality experience full of well-made goods that help people communicate more effectively (and expressively), wherever they work. Every product in the store is chosen because we believe it will accomplish this in at least one of three key ways:
Ensure you’re understood: Hardware like cameras and microphones are an essential part of the modern worker's toolkit. They play a key role in your own experience of being on camera as well as others’ experience of receiving and understanding your message.
Improve focus: Our physical workspace impacts the way we communicate more than we realize. Even small items like wall art, blankets, and candles can help put you at ease so you can communicate from a place of comfort and clarity. They also allow for personal expression and personality in your communication.
Help you be yourself: Work is better when you can be you. Drawing inspiration from the ever-changing world around us, the shop will feature a seasonally rotating line of personal goods and apparel designed to help you feel and look great.
